OBJECTIVES/MISSION |
OBJECTIVES The Korea Research Association (KORA) was founded in 1992, with 10 charter-member research companies, to set and improve research standards and to establish an appropriate schedule of pricing for services MISSION 1. To develop and to establish opinion & marketing research code of ethical standards and guidelines of opinion & marketing research 2. To provide staff training on opinion & marketing research 3. To raise the overall level of professional expertise on opinion & marketing research 4. To establish cooperation and exchange between domestic and international activities related to marketing research |
MAIN ACTIVITIES/FEATURES |

1. MONTHLY MEETINGS |
a) Holding quarterly meetings of member companies’ CEOs to exchange information in the field of opinion and marketing research and to collect pertinent data b). Holding meetings of representatives of fieldwork and of computer- processing, each separately, to exchange information and to develop common computer servers and programs, thereby enhancing the quality of research |
2. RESEARCH SEMINAR |
Conducting seminars on timely issues of opinion and marketing research to reeducate researchers and disseminate new research techniques |
3. RESEARCH DAY EVENT 4. EDUCATION |
Conducting a Research Day event every year in June to publicize KORA and strengthen the pride of the employees of member companies Operating the ‘Marketing Researcher Training Course’ under the Youth Employment Academy Program run by Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor |
